New Year’s Festivities

Noon Year’s Eve at the Toledo Zoo – Just because midnight is past your bedtime, it doesn’t mean you should miss out on New Year’s Eve fun. At Noon Year’s Eve, your family can raise a toast to the New Year with juice, sing a chorus Auld Lang Syne, and watch the ball rise at the stroke of noon.

New Year’s Eve at Hensville – The place to be on New Year’s Eve is Downtown Toledo, specifically Hensville. It starts with a family-friendly party at 10 a.m. with lots of fun activities for the kids. Parties for the over-21 crowd get underway later that evening with a casual, semi-formal, and gourmet venues.

New Year’s Eve Walleye Drop – Is watching the annual ball drop on New Year’s Eve getting a bit ho-hum? Take a drive to Port Clinton and reel in 2017 at the city’s annual Walleye Drop, where you’ll get to see a 20-foot fiberglass walleye descend three stories into the awaiting crowd at midnight. Need more excitement? Come early for the Rock, Paper, Scissors championship and stay for fireworks after the drop.

Make a New Year’s Resolution for Dental Health

A fast-paced life makes it easy to forget or rush through your dental hygiene routines. But medical studies continue to reveal that your dental health is key to your overall health. This year, resolve to take care of your teeth. Take time – make time – to take care of your teeth and gums. Brush twice daily for at least two minutes, floss daily, and visit your dentist twice a year. Proper routine dental care can mean the difference between a healthy smile for a lifetime, or a lifetime of dental health issues.
